How’s Zakir Naik a threat? Perlis Mufti asks

KUALA LUMPUR, March 1 — Perlis Mufti Datuk Mohd Asri Zainul Abidin questioned today how Dr Zakir Naik was a threat to Malaysia after a group of activists sued the government to get the Indian preacher deported. "It's not unusual if they were from non-Muslim groups or kafirs (non-believers) who dislike preaches. However, what's unusual is if there are those professing themselves to be Muslims, but asking that the Muslim preacher who is famous for his oration be caught? "What proof is there that he threatened? Is it because there were Hindus who converted to Islam (after attending Dr Zakir's talks), which made them so sensitive? Or are there other reasons?" Mohd Asri, popularly known as Dr Maza, wrote on his Facebook page today. Though not naming anyone, Mohd Asri, known for his fairly balanced ideas of Islam, appeared to refer to a group of 19 human rights activists, who had filed a civil suit against the Malaysian…

Hadi’s bill against Islam, says ex-Jakim expert  | February 25, 2017 'Mercy is the all-pervasive objective of the shariah.' PETALING JAYA: A shariah expert who served as consultant researcher and fatwa writer to the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (Jakim) has taken PAS to task over its plan to introduce heavier penalties for shariah offences, saying it is nothing more than a “political product” to capture the Muslim vote. Nurul Haq Shahrir, who is currently on a special panel for Islamic law transformation under Majlis Dakwah Negara, the government’s top council on the propagation of Islam, also dismissed claims that the proposed amendments to the Syariah Courts (Criminal Jurisdiction) Act, also known as Act 355, were to uphold the teachings of Islam. “In fact, it is against Islam and has nothing to do with the shariah,” said Nurul, who is an expert on Islamic jurisprudence and comparative religion and speaks seven languages, including Arabic, Hebr…

Nuclear accident cover-up? Radioactive Iodine-131 detected across Europe… no one knows why (Natural News) Mysterious plumes ofradioactive iodine-131, the same nuclear isotope seen during the Fukushima disaster, have suddenly started appearing all over Europe. And according to reports, nobody seems to know where they’re coming from — that, or authorities are choosing to deliberately keep the undisclosed source(s) out of public view. Trace amounts of thehighly damaging form of radiation, which is known to destroy the thyroid gland, have been found in at least seven European countries, including in Norway, Finland, the Czech Republic, Germany, France, and Spain. Such radiation typically comes from either nuclear energy plants or atomic bombs — and the latter presumably haven’t been set off anywhere recently. According to The Sun, the source of the toxic particles appears to be somewhere in Eastern Europe, despite the majority of them having been identified in countries to the West and N…

In just the last 10 days, in fact, five major fake news stories about Russiawere pushed out by the corporate-run media in the United States, only to be completely discredited by real facts. Earlier today,Google delisted all 140,000+ pages of NaturalNews.com from its search engine, instantly wiping out a treasure trove of trulylifesaving knowledgeabout disease prevention, nutritional therapies, avoidance of toxins and the dangers of chemical medications (amo…

Two Vitamin C Tablets Saves Lives

Two Vitamin C Tablets Every Day Could Save 200,000 Lives Every YearOrthomolecular Medicine News Service (OMNS, Nov 22, 2011) New research has reported that risk of heart failure decreases with increasing blood levels of vitamin C [1]. Persons with the lowest plasma levels of ascorbate had the highest risk of heart failure, andpersons with the highest levels of vitamin C had the lowest risk of heart failure. According to the US Centers for Disease Control (CDC) there are about 600,000 deaths from heart disease each year. [2] This is an enormous number. The definition of heart failure used by the study authors was on the basis of drugs prescribed, which would include all forms of heart disease that cause death. This agrees well with the CDC definition. Specifically, the study found that each 20 micromole/liter (μmol/L) increase in plasma vitamin C was associated with a 9% reduction in death from heart failure. That works out to54,000 fewer deaths from heart failure for each increase in…

C4: Madinah not qualified to be auditor-general Center to Combat Corruption and Cronyism says Madinah Mohamad has zero auditing experience. PETALING JAYA: The Center to Combat Corruption and Cronyism (C4) has questioned the decision to appoint Madinah Mohamad as auditor-general, highlighting her lack of auditing experience. C4 said the role of auditor-general must be filled by someone with the specific knowledge and capability, skills and practical experience in key areas related to auditing, accounting and financial management. Given this, the NGO said it was “baffled” by the choice of Madinah, who “clearly does not meet the above criteria and requirements”. “Madinah may have the qualifications suitable for other posts, but most glaringly she has no auditing experience. “What were the process and consideration taken by Prime Minister Najib Razak in recommending her appointment? We ask for an explanation in this regard,” C4 executive director Cynthia Gabriel said in a statement today…
