I’m nobody’s recruit, says Muhyiddin

Responding to news reports that DAP parliamentary leader Lim Kit Siang had said Muhyiddin was his latest recruit in the struggle to save Malaysia, the former deputy prime minister said he was not a recruit.
"I want to explain that the statement is Lim's personal opinion. I have never been recruited by anybody to uphold the truth.
"What I had been speaking up about are from my own realisation on what the people and the country are going through," he said in a posting on his Facebook page tonight.
Muhyiddin, who is Umno deputy president and has strong grassroots support in Johor, also denied saying that he was out to topple his party, refuting reports on several portals that were "spun" following Lim's statement.
"The issue here is the leadership of the prime minister, not Umno," he said.
Muhyiddin, who was sacked from Cabinet in late July last year after openly criticising Datuk Seri Najib Razak on his handling of the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) issue and RM2.6 billion donation controversy, said he understood the feelings of the people who worried about what was to become of Malaysia due to the problems affecting Najib's administration.
"That is why I decided to speak up.
"I believe the problems with the leadership of the prime minister, who is allegedly involved in several financial scandals, are (concerns) shared by a majority of the people in this country, regardless of politics, ideology and race," he said.
Last weekend in Muar, Lim reportedly hailed Muhyiddin for demanding the truth about national affairs and promised him the cooperation of Pakatan Harapan in Johor in the struggle to save Malaysia.
Lim said the opposition coalition was ready to cooperate with Muhyiddin and other leaders of Umno, MCA and Barisan Nasional at all levels in the state if they were prepared to speak up for the rights of the people and the future of the country. – February 16, 2016.
Muhyiddin understand deeply the rakyat’s concerns about what will happen to Malaysia if several crises as a result of the prime minister’s leadership persists.is bullshit. He cares for himself and he tried to unseat Najib with Mahathir's help but was unsuccessful so he is now making himself seen as a Hero to the people. He was the one who said he is a MALAY first then a Malaysian, which pisses us NON MALAYS. He is also very indignant as he has lost dubious income from his previous DPM post, his son in law has lost a profitable scheme when Muhyiddin was no longer Educational minister.. WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP!
