WASHINGTON, July 27 — US President Donald Trump yesterday threatened to slap “large sanctions” on Turkey unless it freed an American pastor, prompting an immediate and angry response from Ankara and further escalating tensions between the two Nato allies.
A spokesman for Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said Washington's threats were unacceptable and damaging to the US-Turkey alliance.
“The United States must reconsider its approach and adopt a constructive position before inflicting further damage to its own interests and its alliance with Turkey,” Erdogan's spokesman, Ibrahim Kalin, said in a written statement.
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu spoke to US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo yesterday, according to Turkish foreign ministry sources. Details were not immediately available.
The Trump administration escalated the pressure campaign to free Andrew Brunson a day after a court ordered that he be moved to house arrest after 21 months in detention. He is on trial for terrorism charges.
“The United States will impose large sanctions on Turkey for their long time detainment of Pastor Andrew Brunson, a great Christian, family man and wonderful human being,” Trump wrote in a tweet.
“He is suffering greatly. This innocent man of faith should be released immediately!”
Shortly before, Vice President Mike Pence, a devout Christian, leveled a similar threat directly at Turkey's president.
“To President (Tayyip) Erdogan and the Turkish government, I have a message on behalf of the president of the United States of America: release Pastor Andrew Brunson now or be prepared to face the consequences,” Pence said at a religious freedom event hosted by the US State Department.
Neither Trump nor Pence elaborated on the type of sanctions that the United States could impose.
The threat of sanctions prompted a downturn in Turkey's financial markets. There was no immediate comment from US lawmakers who have threatened to withhold weapons sales to Turkey as strains have escalated over Brunson's detention.
Turkey's lira currency briefly weakened to 4.89 to the US dollar following reports of Pence's comments, but recovered later to stand at 4.8420 at 11.01am EDT (1501 GMT). The Istanbul bourse fell as much as 1.75 per cent before picking up slightly.
Brunson, who is from North Carolina and has worked in Turkey for more than 20 years, has been accused of helping the group Ankara says was behind a failed military coup in 2016. The pastor, who has denied the charges, faces up to 35 years in jail if found guilty.
Erdogan has in the past linked Brunson's fate with that of the US-based Muslim cleric Fethullah Gulen. Ankara accuses Gulen of masterminding the failed coup, and has long sought his extradition to Turkey. Gulen has denied any role in the coup attempt, in which 250 people were killed.
“You have a pastor as well, give him to us,” Erdogan said last September, in response to Washington’s calls for Brunson to be released.
Brunson's detention deepened a rift between Washington and Ankara, which are also at odds over the Syrian war and Turkey's plan to buy missile defences from Russia.
On Wednesday, Brunson was escorted out of prison in the coastal city of Izmir, and left in a convoy of cars. His lawyer said he was ordered to wear an electronic monitoring bracelet.
US and Turkish officials had been working on a deal that would lead to Brunson's release, and Washington had expected him to be freed at his trial last week, a source in the United States familiar with developments told Reuters on Wednesday.
US officials had been under the impression that the deal was in place, the source said, adding that when Brunson was not released, Pence spoke with Trump and the two agreed harsh new policy measures were needed to force the issue.
Addressing Brunson's daughter in the audience, Pence said: "I promise you, as I told your father yesterday, President Trump and I will continue to fight to secure your father's full release until he is restored to his family and returns to the United States of America."
The Christian right, an important component of Trump and Pence's voting base, has been pressuring the administration on the Brunson case. — Reuters
President (Tayyip) Erdogan is behaving like a bloody fool playing around with a human life. He keeps changing the charges against pastor Andrew. Really, does he think he is the Asian Hitler. Pity the revolution did not take him out. He is using that as a political tool to enhance his position, Time for him to feel the wrath of God, adding to his much evil doings and machinations.

World Mercury Project video BANNED by Facebook now available at REAL.video – see “Epidemic – The Science”

Natural News) A video that has been censored by Facebook is now available at this REAL.video link. The video, featuring Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. of the World Mercury Project, warns about the epidemic of vaccine-induced degenerative diseasethat’s sweeping across developed nations.
In the verboten video, he names ADHD, autism, auto-immune diseases, rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile diabetes, asthma and food allergies. “We know from the science that all of these diseases can be caused by ingredients in vaccines,” he warns. “And we know that the epidemic of these diseases exploded after the dramatic expansion of the vaccine schedule that took place in 1989.”
RFK, Jr. says that while it’s not rational to blame vaccines for every disease, “we ought to be doing the science” to find out the true impact of vaccines on causing degenerative disease in children. Yet the CDC, the vaccine industry and the entire fake news media have been running a decades-long vaccine cover-up to shut down any and all rational skepticism about the safety of vaccine ingredients. Those ingredients, of course, include known neurological poisons such as formaldehyde, monosodium glutamate and mercury.
Facebook, YouTube and Google are all in on the conspiracy to silence legitimate questions about vaccine safety, and they blocked this video from being distributed. That’s why we’ve posted it on REAL.video, which is rapidly exploding as the new hub for important videos that are banned and blacklisted by the evil tech giants. The U.S. censorship of vaccine skepticism mirrors the content purge of communist China, which recently ordered its own state-run media to delete all articles and comments about an exploding vaccine scandal there.

JERUSALEM, July 24 — Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said today Turkey was becoming a “dark dictatorship” as he hit back at Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s harsh criticism of a “racist” new Israeli law.
“Erdogan is massacring Syrians and Kurds and has imprisoned tens of thousands of his citizens,” Netanyahu said in a statement.
“Turkey under Erdogan is becoming a dark dictatorship, while Israel is meticulously maintaining equal rights for all its citizens, before and after the law.”
Earlier Tuesday, Erdogan branded Israel “the world’s most Zionist, fascist and racist state” after the Israeli parliament passed a law defining the country as the nation state of the Jewish people.
In one of his toughest recent onslaughts against Israel, Erdogan claimed there was “no difference between Hitler’s obsession with the Aryan race and Israel’s understanding that these ancient lands are meant only for Jews.”
“The spirit of Hitler, which led the world to a great catastrophe, has found its resurgence among some of Israel’s leaders,” he added in a speech to his ruling party.
The legislation makes Hebrew the national language of Israel and defines the establishment of Jewish communities as being in the national interest.
Arabic, previously considered an official language, was granted only special status.
The law does not specify equality and Israel’s democratic character, implying that the country’s Jewish nature comes first, analysts said. — AFP
Erdogan is already a Dictator - imprisoning thousands of his countrymen, stifling the Opposition. Using a religious clergy (pastor Andrew) as a political pawn. Now with new powers in his hand - he is the new Hilter. Attacking Syria, warmongering. What does he think he doing??? Pity the Turks elected him to power, will they regret?

Zahid, don’t blame others for BN’s defeat

Zahid, don’t blame others for BN’s defeat

Instead of blaming Dr Mahathir Mohamad for BN's loss in GE14, Zahid Hamidi should acknowledge the coalition's shortcomings throughout its time in power.
During a debate in the Dewan Rakyat on July 18, opposition leader Ahmad Zahid Hamidi claimed Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s legacy during his first tenure as prime minister had contributed to Barisan Nasional’s (BN) defeat in the May 9 polls.
Is Zahid aware that Mahathir left office in 2003? It has been 15 years since Mahathir wielded any real influence in government administration. In fact, when Najib Razak took over as prime minister, Mahathir allegedly complained that his suggestions were dismissed and that he was not allowed to visit key government personnel.
Any shortfalls in the BN administration, like in tackling racism, extremism, religious intolerance, and even more so-called mundane issues like children’s rights, women’s issues in the workplace, education, mat rempit, the perennial problem of too many graduates for too few jobs, picky graduates, poor command of English and the disparity in wealth could have been tackled in the intermediate period – but Zahid overlooked these and instead blamed Mahathir for BN’s loss.
Zahid claimed Mahathir had left a huge debt for both Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and Najib to deal with. Is he aware that the 1MDB scandal, which has been linked with the nation’s RM1 trillion debt, started off as the Terengganu Investment Authority?
In 2008, Najib, who was deputy prime minister at the time, announced that the government had agreed to the establishment of a sovereign wealth fund to channel and manage oil royalty payments to Terengganu. The fund would kick off with RM10 billion of taxpayers’ money.
Two years later, then-opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim warned Malaysians that 1MDB could dwarf the Port Klang Free Zone scandal because the earnings, performance and audited accounts had not been made public even many months after they should have been released.
Zahid should realise that if Najib’s Cabinet had been performing and attending to the needs of the nation, the ministers would have questioned Najib on the lack of transparency in 1MDB.
He should also recall the manner in which former deputy prime minister Muhyiddin Yassin and former attorney-general Abdul Gani Patail were removed from office for asking questions about 1MDB. Gani only had a few months to go before retirement, but his office was sealed and he was removed, with the public told that he had resigned for health reasons.
DAP MP Tony Pua and Sarawak Report editor Clare Rewcastle-Brown, who discussed these issues publicly either in talks or on their websites, were criticised. A travel ban was imposed on Pua while Rewcastle-Brown became persona non grata in Malaysia.
If Zahid needs reminding, the government under Najib was getting out of control. MPs and cronies were accused of milking taxpayers’ money for their own ends. They only promoted their own people, interests and agendas. Political appointees received several hundred thousand ringgit in monthly salaries and enjoyed many other perks, but the poor were given one-off payments of RM1,500 per year.
Land throughout Malaysia was sold at dirt cheap prices to companies, including companies from China. Why does the nation need several ports funded by China? How will we pay our debts? Or will our children be saddled with the repayments?
Zahid might also recall the palaver on the RM2.6 billion “donation” to Najib. Various Umno politicians offered excuses in an attempt to cover for him. Did it not worry Zahid that one of the reasons given was that Saudi Arabia wanted to “help” in the 13th general election? Wouldn’t this amount to foreign interference in our country’s internal affairs?
Zahid should look in the mirror and acknowledge the shortcomings of Umno/BN before placing the blame for BN’s electoral defeat on Mahathir.
Perhaps Zahid should blame the rakyat for daring to vote for Pakatan Harapan.

Deep State and the powerful Illuminati cannot be put down

THIS A KEY MOMENT IN WORLD HISTORY: Deep State in Total Panic & Fully Exposed

Former CIA Director John Brennan and others are “threatening the killing of Donald Trump” when they accuse him of treason, so says our friend Harley Schlanger, “and I think this is a key moment in world history where Americans have to get behind their President and defend him from these people who are trying to pull a regime change in Washington.”

Tony Podesta Arrested: Arrest Warrants Issued for Hillary Clinton & John Podesta

Democratic lobbyist Tony Podesta is in police custody after being arrested last night, with arrest warrants also issued for Hillary Clinton and John Podesta, who are "turning themselves in" on Monday morning.
In a shocking turn of events, three key Democrats have been indicted, yet there's a total mainstream media blackout. Arrests records confirm that 74-year-old Anthony, founder of the Podesta Group, brother of John Podesta, and a major player in the Pizzagate scandal, was arrested last night.
Deep State and the powerful Illuminati cannot be put down After all most of them are doing the elites' bidding. It would take a very powerful force to deal with them. President Trump himself is part of the Illuminati - a Jesuit (taught and trained by Jesuits). How come people think that he is the savior of the USA. He is just there to control the runaway Deep State and Leftist crowd, and himself is a DISTRACTION.

Sulforaphane guards against age-related macular degeneration

Sulforaphane guards against age-related macular degeneration

(Naturalhealth365) Age-related macular degeneration (AMD), a leading cause of blindness in people over 50, affects as many as 11 million Americans. In fact, experts estimate that up to 20 percent of all adults between the ages of 60 and 80 could be experiencing at least the early stages of age- related macular degeneration (AMD) – a frightening statistic, and one which points to the urgent need for improved methods of detection and treatment. Fortunately, for us, researchers say that sulforaphane just might fill the bill.
As strange as it sounds, a group of perfectly ordinary garden vegetables – foods you may already have in your refrigerator – could hold the key to preventing and slowing the development of AMD. Just-published research shows that sulforaphane, an organic sulfur compound found in cruciferous vegetables such as cabbage and broccoli, shows extraordinary potential for protecting fragile retinal cells involved in AMD.

Oxidative stress and inflammation trigger age-related macular degeneration

AMD is caused by inflammation, oxidative stress and damage to the fragile cells in the retina at the back of the eye – particularly, those of the macula (the central area of the retina responsible for central vision).
Excessive exposure to sunlight, smoking cigarettes, poor nutrition and having heart disease or diabetes all increase the risk of AMD – as does being over 60 years old.
Macular degeneration symptoms can include blurry or clouded central vision, “blank” spots in the field of vision and perceiving colors as “washed-out” or faded. Straight lines appearing as wavy can also be a tip-off to advancing macular degeneration.
Experiencing any of these symptoms calls for a prompt visit to your eye doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment.

Researchers say: Sulforaphane is “highly effective” in protecting retinal cells – and even promoting regeneration

Sulforaphane is an isothiocyanate – a type of anti-inflammatory and antioxidant plant compound.
Researchers say that sulforaphane is also anticancer, ramping up the Phase II (detoxification) enzymes in the liver and helping to neutralize carcinogens before they can damage cells.
Recent research has focused on sulforaphane’s potential protective effects on the eyes – and the results are impressive.
In a new study conducted by scientists at the renowned Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, scientists exposed human retinal pigment epithelial cells to ultraviolet light in the wavelength of 320 to 400 nanometers.
Cells that had been pretreated with sulforaphane showed significantly less photooxidative damage, leading the team to conclude that the compound may protect against age-related macular degeneration.
The team lauded sulforaphane as “highly effective.”  They also remarked that sulforaphane’s normal presence in the human diet is an indication that it is likely to be safe.
And, in another new study published in Current Molecular Pharmacology, researchers noted that macular degeneration is triggered, in part, by a reduction in glutathione – the body’s “master” antioxidant – which is present in every cell.
Scientists have long known that compounds from cruciferous vegetables (namely, sulforaphane) can significantly increase glutathione and cell proliferation. And, as expected, the sulforaphane was effective in helping retinal cells regenerate in the face of oxidative stress.

Sulforaphane shows potential against cataracts as well

The good news about sulforaphane’s protective effects on vision keeps coming.
In a study published in Investigative Opthalmology and Visual Science, researchers exposed human lens cells to hydrogen peroxide – but not before treating one group in advance with sulforaphane.
The team reported that the sulforaphane group had less DNA damage, less cell damage and less cell death. Significantly, the sulforaphane protected against hydrogen peroxide-induced opacification – a thickening of the lens capsule that interferes with light getting through.
The team concluded that sulforaphane protected cells in the lens of the eye against oxidative stress – and could potentially delay the onset of cataracts, a condition which causes clouding of the lenses.

How can I increase dietary intake of sulforaphane?

Consuming organic Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, arugula, kale, watercress, Bok choy and broccoli can all raise dietary sulforaphane levels.
Although these cruciferous vegetables are great sources of sulforaphane, they are all outdone by broccoli sprouts. With 10 to 50 times greater amounts of sulforaphane than mature broccoli, these tender sprouts are the real winner – nutritionally speaking.
When it comes to preserving natural sulforaphane levels, the best way to prepare cruciferous vegetables may be to steam them lightly. In one study, researchers found that steaming broccoli maximized the sulforaphane content and made it more biologically available.
(Note: Frozen cruciferous vegetables may not offer the same benefit as fresh, steamed produce. In one study, researchers found that blanching and freezing broccoli stripped the vegetable of myrosinase – an enzyme which makes sulforaphane available to the body).
Extra tip: To enhance sulforaphane content of frozen broccoli, try adding a small amount of daikon radish – a natural source of myrosinase.
Sulforaphane is also available in the form of nutritional supplements.
While an ideal dosage has not been identified, natural health experts may recommend amounts ranging from 7 mg to 57 mg a day. As always, check with a knowledgeable integrative physician before supplementing.

Protect against AMD naturally with proper nutrition

In addition to eating sulforaphane-rich foods, it’s wise to consume healthy amounts of foods high in carotenoids – especially brightly-colored yellow-orange foods such as organic squash, sweet potatoes, pumpkin and carrots. Foods rich in anthocyanins, such as cherries and blueberries, also support eye health.
Avoid refined sugar – which accelerates the aging process and causes oxidation – along with excessive amounts of caffeine and alcohol (which reduce blood flow to the eyes and cause dehydration) as well as heavily processed foods, which are pro-inflammatory.
Of course, eating probiotic foods such as sauerkraut and kimchi can help promote a healthy gut microbiome – which is closely associated with supporting eye health.
Vitamin C and E, taken along with zinc and omega-3 fatty acids, have been shown to impede the development of age-related macular degeneration. And don’t forget the carotenoids astaxanthin, zeaxanthin and lutein – studies have shown that these eye health supplements are protective against AMD as well.
Finally, protecting your eyes from excessive exposure to sunlight and using blue-light filters on computer screens can help protect against AMD. If you are over 40, experts recommend having a comprehensive dilated eye exam at least every two years.
Although cabbage and broccoli sprouts may seem like unlikely heroes, these humble vegetables – with their stores of sulforaphane – certainly pack a protective punch against eye diseases.

NEW DELHI, July 17 — India has ordered an immediate inspection of all childcare homes run by a religious order founded by Mother Teresa after a nun was arrested over an alleged adoption racket.
Illegal adoption is big business in India, with over 100,000 children reported missing every year, the government says.
Many are given up by desperately poor parents but others are snatched from hospitals and train stations.
Police earlier this month arrested the nun and a worker at one of the Missionaries of Charity order’s homes in Ranchi, the capital of eastern Jharkhand state, over allegations that at least five infants were sold for potentially thousands of dollars.
The scandal blew up after local child welfare authorities informed police about a newborn missing from the home, which is meant to care for unwed pregnant women and mothers in distress.
In a statement late last night, Women and Child Development Minister Maneka Gandhi said all state governments have been asked “to get child care homes run by Missionaries of Charity all over the country inspected immediately.”
She also said all childcare institutions should be registered and linked to the central adoption authority within the next month.
In December India’s Supreme Court had ordered mandatory registration of all childcare institutions and bringing orphanages under the central adoption system.
Since then some 2,300 childcare institutions have been linked to the Central Adoption Resource Authority and about 4,000 are still pending, according to the government.
In the aftermath of the adoption scandal, the Missionaries of Charity had said it would carefully look into the Jharkhand case and ensure the incident was never repeated.
The charity was founded in 1946 by Mother Teresa, a global symbol of compassion who was canonised as a saint after her death in 1997.
Headquartered in Kolkata in eastern India, the charity runs several institutions across the country.
Missionaries of Charity was previously involved in providing legal adoption services in India, but in 2015 said it was closing down its adoption centres, citing new regulations that made it easier for single and divorced people to adopt children. — AFP
Yes, these centres must be carefully inspected and monitored, even during Teresa times there were abuses - donations meant for the service centres upkeep were channeled to the Vatican in Rome. The unhygienic practices - multiple usages of disposable syringes (just washed with warm water and reused), and other unhealthy practices.

Toxic BPA enters the human body within seconds

BPA-store-receipts
(NaturalHealth365) Many health conscious consumers do everything possible to avoid the use of food containers and plastic bottles that contain the endocrine disruptor – bisphenol, or BPA.  However, often overlooked, if you accept a receipt from the cashier – while you’re shopping or dining out – you’re still being exposed to BPA. (and the effect may surprise you!)
A recent study of store receipt effects by Stockholm University and University of Alberta has determined that BPA is absorbed through the skin when we handle the register paper. The study also showed that bisphenol A absorbed through the skin tends to stay within the body considerably longer than BPA that is ingested in food.

Surprising evidence about the toxic effect of BPA

For the study, the researchers had subjects handle store receipts for 5 minutes. They then wore gloves for 2 hours before they washed their hands. Their urine was tested both before and after the study period for levels of BPA.
BPA measurements for BPA were highest within the first 2 minutes following the experiment. However, even after a week, half of the participants showed bisphenol A in their urine.  And, as an example, if you have high blood pressure  this should be a concern of yours.
By comparison, subjects that consumed a cookie containing BPA were able to clear it out much quicker. And, while they tested higher for BPA in the 5 hours following BPA consumption, it had left their bodies within 24 hours.

Warning: BPA is a known endocrine disruptor

Handling a receipt may seem like a safe and innocuous activity – something most people do every day. However, doing so can be more harmful than using plastic water bottles or other containers that could result in the consumption of BPA.
While the study period was 5 minutes, just 5 seconds of exposure is long enough to transfer some BPA through your skin and into your bloodstream. You’ll absorb up to 10 times as much if your fingers are moist or oily.
Paper money, grocery lists and coupons stored with register receipts can take on traces of BPA and lead to more exposure.
Research has linked BPA with causing an imbalance in the body’s hormones. The endocrine disruptor can negatively impact the metabolism, immune system and the reproductive system. It can even cause cancer.
BPA is also linked with poor sperm quality, reproductive dysfunction, early puberty, thyroid problems, insulin resistance, heart disease, obesity and autoimmune diseases. It is especially toxic to developing babies in pregnant mothers due to its ability to raise the chances of a miscarriage, chromosomal errors and other genetic problems.

Endocrine disruptor exposure risk from BPA worse than we thought

In addition to being used in plastic bottles, food containers, tin can liners and register receipt paper, BPA is also used in contact lenses, dental sealants and electronic plastics.  Straws, plastic lids, ATM receipts and airline tickets also contain this endocrine disruptor.
Keep in mind, exposure to excessive light, heat or acidic foods can increase the release of BPA considerably.
Just about everyone handles at least one receipt throughout the course of a day. But what about cashiers, who handle hundreds of receipts each day?  Their job is now a potential health hazard.
However, with BPA in so many food packaging materials, so is shopping at a grocery store.  Bottom line, be careful out there in this toxic world.
