Hadi: If you love Dr M, don't vote for him

PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang has blamed the economic problems faced by the country on the leaders of the 1980s, who are now in Pakatan Harapan.

He said PAS, which will be launching its manifesto tomorrow, would present the Government with a solution.

“The woes faced by the country – whether by the Government or the people – are the legacy from the leaders who sit in Pakatan Harapan today. Those who have governed the country since the 1980s, they are the ones who created the problems.

“In fact, to me, Umno is now burdened with the woes they created. That’s why PAS introduced the concept of ta’awun – the concept of helping each other in important matters,” he said in a Facebook live session on Thursday.


WHAT A HYPOCRCITE and LIAR is Hadi Awang, blaming UMNO for the wrongs done yet supporting in Parliament and in polls (contesting to dilute the votes of the PH candidates), taking money from NAJIB/UMNO. He has not denied taking money from Umno/BN, only his spokesman, PAS members have done so.

Former Malaysian prime minister Mahathir Mohamad on Wednesday (Jan 3) labelled opposition Parti Islam Se-Malaysia (PAS) president Abdul Hadi Awang a traitor and kafir (infidel) over the latter’s decision for his party to contest 130 parliamentary seats in the upcoming general election.

Dr Mahathir also accused Mr Hadi of aligning PAS with the ruling United Malays National Organisation (Umno) and previously with the opposition Chinese-majority Democratic Action Party (DAP), which the latter had called both parties as infidels.

Speaking at opposition Pakatan Harapan (PH) pact’s inaugural weekly “Policy Talk”, Dr Mahathir — who is the chairman of PH — claimed that Mr Hadi has no intention of winning the seats and was only seeking to spoil the contests in favour of BN.

Malaysia uses a first-past-the-post electoral system and traditionally multi-cornered fights have favoured BN.

Mr Hadi was reported as saying in a media report that his party will contest in 130 of the 222 federal seats and was prepared for multi-cornered fights.

“Hadi knows very well he is going to lose most of the seats, but he will be helping (Prime Minister) Najib (Razak) win by splitting the Opposition vote,” said Dr Mahathir.

“That is his intention, and that isn’t very Islamic. In Malay we call it pengkhianat (traitor). He knows the impact of his actions.”

 Hadi Awang taking money from NAJIB/UMNO, colluding with PAS enemy to help them win the GS14.  PAS members should take note as to where the money is coming from as a lot PAS leaders are enriched with Umno funds, even down to PAS village chiefs. Let PAS members VOTE PAS out of power!
